Dr. Kimball Thomas has over 30 years of experience in the fields of public education and public service. This Florida A&M University alum has served as the former principal of several high schools in North Florida (Rickards, FAMU DRS and formerly East Gadsden High) and he has worked as an education consultant with the Florida Department of Education. The TEMPO initiative is a community outreach program for Tallahassee youth ages 16-24 who are not in school and unemployed and could be subject to incidences of crime, poverty, and domestic violence. TEMPO provides mentoring, life coaching and resources that assist with education, workforce training, and jobs.
